I wanted cabinets for my living room. I tried three other businesses before I found The Cabinet Maker. I am so glad the other ones didn’t come through. John is so nice and was so helpful. My cabinets turned out beautiful and were everything we wanted. The guys that put them in were so efficient, fast, neat, and friendly. They arrived on time. We are so pleased with them. We contracted with The Cabinet Maker, LLC for various projects for the Milwaukee Art Museum. In addition to custom cabinets, they provided design expertise and input, working alongside our internal staff and other contractors.

The projects were managed directly by owner, John Phillips, enabling clear communication and timely completion. Outstanding. John took on this RV project when no one else would even consider it. It was a difficult job to redo our entire interior with quarter sawn red oak, but the results are spectacular. The fit of the new doors is great as well as the auto-close hinges which have eliminated road rattle. We are very pleased with the results and would highly recommend The Cabinet Makers.

We had a great experience working with John.  We had a pretty good idea of what we wanted him to build for us, and he was patient as we worked through the finer details.  He does quality work with solid construction, and the pieces he built look like they are original to the house.  Communication was always timely and clear, and all work was done on schedule.

After purchasing my home, one of the first things I wanted to do was to remodel my basement into a rec room. I spent many hours in my basement trying to decide on a floor plan. I knew I wanted my rec room to include a bar that would be the focal point of the room.

Remodeling our basement into a family living area meant some major decisions had to be made. The gas meter was relocated outside, but the water meter, located right in the center of our basement wall, was a different story. We hired The Cabinet Maker to come up with some ideas to somehow disguise it. After listening to our needs, he designed a cabinet that was a “perfect fit.” He wanted to make sure that it didn’t look like it was ‘hiding’ anything and would give us the usability we required. When United Way decided a customized movable wall was needed to separate staff space from public space, we presented the opportunity to various vendors. We selected the Cabinet Maker because they had the best design and for their willingness to provide some services pro bono in support of our nonprofit mission.

The wall, which features a large scale United Way logo, brands the interior space and functions as a welcome to all that enter our building. It enhances the ambience of our workspace with clean lines and a professional feel.
