Career Opportunity: Cabinet Maker/Installer

We specialize in manufacturing one of kind home bars, kitchen and bath cabinetry, built ins and matching style and color in existing homes. The Cabinet Maker, LLC prides itself in recruiting talented team members and is seeking a custom cabinet maker/installer.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Cut parts and assemble cabinets using provided shop plans
  • Sand cabinets and other work product
  • Operate fork lift, and a variety of power tools including hand tools and heavy equipment
  • Act as an assistant to the finisher as needed
  • Install cabinets and other finished goods at residential and commercial sites
  • Interact with clients
  • Drive company vehicle for delivery of goods and pick up of materials
  • Other duties as assigned

A qualified candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • 3 years of cabinet making experience, 5 years preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Ability to translate plans to finished products by measuring, cutting, and assembly
  • Ability to meet assigned deadlines
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Advanced customer service skills to communicate with homeowners and resolve issues without escalation
  • Able to lift 100 pounds

Mud Room Lockers

 

School is starting and so are the hectic mornings.

Getting organized is one of the most effective ways you can make the school days easier for the students and the families. This family had a not so functional space in their entry way. Everything would just get dropped here and made for some tough nights and mornings. We designed it so everyone now has their own space. See more images in our Other Spaces Gallery. Garage Bar

Have you ever thought about remodeling your garage? Or maybe just adding in a few personally designed pieces for convenience?

We designed a flexible pantry storage with home owner friendly adjustable height pull out shelves.  This pantry also has a custom stainless steel counter top and a stainless steel full height backslash, lighted bar rail.  The brushed stainless steel legs are 6″ tall to allow for ease of cleaning under the cabinets  The thermo foil cabinets, doors and drawer fronts are great for durability and clean easily. In addition, the stainless steel drop pan below the refrigerator is to  prevent damage from moisture from refrigerator condensation. Finally, the ball bearing drawer slides for ease of use in any temperature.

Also, this cabinet will work well if additional cabinets are added in the future!

Brookfield Basement Wet Bar

The Cabinet Maker did a great job of turning our ideas for a wet bar in our basement into reality. John recommended we use the Express Cabinets because of the short time frame we had for getting our project completed. There were a lot of options to choose from, but John’s expertise helped us in choosing the right style and finish to make the wet bar tie into the rest of our basement. The cabinets turned out great and we have received nothing but great compliments on them. There are a lot of options out there for buying cabinets, but I would highly recommend the Cabinet Maker for his consultative approach to his customers and an honest opinion.

Muskego Kitchen Remodel

We had been thinking about remodeling our kitchen for more than a few years. We finally decided to take the plunge; but where to begin? We were a bit intimidated by the task before us. We enlisted the services of an architect and he introduced us to John Phillips. That was our day of special blessings!

We were immediately impressed with John during our initial consultation. We were so comfortable with his manner; we called him that night to tell him he was our choice for the job. He made a personal commitment to us that he would use his best efforts and skill to give us the quality kitchen we wanted. AND HE DID!

John’s attention to detail is outstanding. Our home is older, and there were many challenges to be met with floors that were not level and walls that were not square. Those challenges were met to our great satisfaction. He scribed the end panel of our pantry that meets a masonry wall; it fits so perfectly, everyone takes special notice and comments on how skillfully the work was done. The superior effort he put into crafting our cabinets will ensure that we will enjoy their beauty far into the future.

If you are looking for a craftsman with integrity and outstanding skill, I would recommend John Phillips without hesitation!

St Francis Bathroom Vanity

Imagine waiting many years to finally re-do your bathroom. You spend time looking for vanities, searching for cabinets, faucets, etc. Naturally, nothing stock fits your space. Every time you start, you are stonewalled by not knowing how to solve one dilemma or another.

The cost of contracting out the project seems out of your range, but then one thing leads to another and you meet John Phillips. John is willing to work within your budget and has the support people to get the job done.

These craftsmen come when they say they will, have the needed tools and supplies, work neatly and clean up after themselves. Plus, each and every one is a wonderfully nice human being.

To say we are delighted with our relationship with The Cabinet Maker is an understatement. Personally, the moment that meant the most to me was John’s sensitivity to my concern over the light placement. You know he’s not a run of the mill contractor.

1970’s Home Upgrade

Imagine the homeowner’s delight with the finished creation, with extras galore! Creative and Functional

The owner of this 3rd Ward loft condo was dissatisfied with the cookie-cutter feel of the builder’s kitchen and had a creative vision for her new kitchen. What we did was help bridge the gap from vision to functionality. The focus would be an island that was truly an original and bring in her personal touch of custom photography on the muraled backsplash.

The finished project is true to the contemporary design of the condo, and includes a linear concept softened by the rounded, two-level island. The island’s down-draft cooktop incorporates easy-access to spices while hiding them from guests who can be right in the action, seated at the extended island.

Key manufacturing wants that were fulfilled include seamless granite (yes, that is one piece), hidden lighting in the arched-accent piece, and easy-access cookware storage. Other design details include integrated handles that continue the linear feel, and custom panels that camouflage the refrigerator. The drawers feature hands-free access that open with a just a slight bump thanks to the Servo-Drive technology. The upper cabinets feature push-release hinges, negating the need for any external hardware. The waste/recycling center is hidden and hands-free. Finally, the true custom design is highlighted with the seven-foot tall pull out pantry with fully-adjustable shelves and heavy duty soft-close slides.
